HAZARD ANALYSIS AND CRITICAL CONTROL POINT (HACCP)
The Malaysian Certification Scheme for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point system (MCS HACCP) is a scheme which administered by the Ministry of Health (MOH) describes procedures which apply to food premise in granting HACCP certification.
The process of certification includes adequacy, compliance and any follow-up audits by appointed of certified auditors.
The certification is granted for specific food product and is not a blanket certification for all types of food product from a food premise.
Halal Certification is a recognition that the products are permissible under Islamic law and strictly meet Halal requirements. Halal certification contributes in building Halal consumer’s confidence without suspicion or doubt over the consumption of the food products.
Halal products are not only welcomed by Muslim consumers but by non-Muslim consumers as well as Halal certificate is the symbol of high level of hygiene, cleanliness, safety, nutrition and is produced stringently under the requirements of the Islamic Dietary Law.
The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) has been the authorized body responsible for the standardization of Halal certifications.
GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE (GMP)
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification ensures the integrity of food manufacturing process as well as compliance with food safety regulations by Ministry of Health (MOH).
A GMP is an important enhancement to food safety management system, which increases consumers’ confidence in commitment to trading and producing safe and high quality food.
A GMP certification scheme provides independent verification and certification that the basic manufacturing practices and prerequisites necessary for the implementation of an effective Hazard Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety program are being followed.

MeSTI - Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri' (Food Safety is the Industry's Responsibility)
MeSTI – ‘Makanan Selamat Tanggungjawab Industri’ (Food Safety is the Industry’s Responsibility), is a food safety assurance certification established by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
The objective of MeSTI is to put in place a system for the maintenance of food hygiene and process control which includes food safety assurance and food traceability. Through this program, MeSTI certification logo is introduced as food safety compliance and being a safety standard for micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia to be a major producer and exporter of food products by facilitating food safety and quality compliance.
SME RECOGNITION AWARD 2011
